I have been into SM for about 20 years but never been on the scene.  I have read Pat Califia and Leatherfolk, and various SM sites online, so I speak the lingo and understand safety.

My other interests include: reading, literature, poetry, science fiction, walking, swimming, landscape, spirituality (non-theist, Taoist, alternative), meditation, music (baroque, klezmer, cajun, world, renaissance, 80s indie bands).  My politics are liberal.
