Ray was our first resident artist at CCK and has remained loyal since 2003.

Grey-haired leather-clad biker, Ray is an unlikely upraiser of beauty and super-sexuality in all its guises.

Born in Lincolnshire, England, in 1959 he quickly fell in love with rock music, motorbikes, girls and comic books. After a varied early career of a crane driver, motorbike courier and a modeller of life-size fiberglass dinosaurs Ray was accepted as a mature student at Exeter College of Art and graduated in Fine Art Painting. The constant scrutiny of the naked body cultured his appreciation of beauty and the fascination for female fashion and fetish fashion in particular - powerful images and imagery of subtle messages taken to extremes.

Open & Limited edition prints available online at http://coffeecakeandkink.com.lightning1.net/default.aspx?cp=412&item;=Prints&parent;=230

As is his first book, published as a result of his exhibition at CCK “Muse” which you can buy via the CCK webshop at http://coffeecakeandkink.com.lightning1.net/productdetails.aspx?cp=391&item;=Muse+Art&sid;=820

Dorian works with pen, paper and PC to create images of extraordinary strength and beauty, most of which have never been seen before.

Sparked by a chance encounter with a can-can troupe, Dorian’s art focuses on the inherent sensuality of the female and balance and power of the body, his women are both powerful and vulnerable, submissive and in charge. Strong lines and black and white images prevail, with a touch of colour occasionally added with ink or paper.

Prints and originals are available for sale, as is a range of limited edition cards.

Geof is a gullible fool who seems to believe that drawing is a constructive use of his time. Whilst many sane people might disagree, he knows few enough of these for this to be any kind of hindrance.
For some reason Geof currently lives in Leeds.

As such, buying his art will deprive him of much needed kindling for the approaching winter, but he¢s willing to face that problem as and when it arises. Truth be told, Geof studied physics in London and York and is currently employed as a research scientist, but that¢s an entirely different biography.

Limited edition Giclee prints and comics are available at CCK, together with stickers and mugs.

As a women with narcissistic tendencies, Elsie has a fascination with the female form, its allure and sensuality as well as the power and control that women exert on men. In her art, she plays around with notions of voyeurism, celebrates fetishistic passions and fantasy and questions who, between the sexes, really holds the central position of power.

The women in Elsie’s paintings rejoice in their own sexual allure and taunt the onlooker with their blatant availability. But for all their provocation, the girls are in control. They hold the power. They are ultimately untouchable. Their interaction with the viewer is on their terms.

Prints and originals are available for sale.

An East End lad who studied at the Royal College of Art, G.D.S.Cline was an unlikely candidate for the lifestyle of dark and bloody passions. Having moved to Italy with first lover Eric Hebborn, the notorious art forger, he eventually returned to London and gained recognition as a fabric designer. Here he met his great love, John Kenneth Elliker, and moved to California, setting up home in Laguna Beach and then San Diego. It was not until after John’s death that Graham found himself free to enjoy his own consensual theatre of blood, pain and submission for the first time in his life.

Cast in the infamous cult film “Hustler White” by friend Rick Castro, Graham indulged in this own secret performance art of rope, blades and cigarette burns. California provided a stream of eager dominants - Camp Pendleton marines, surfers, leathermen, jocks, freaks and rent boys, all eager to explore their many dark compulsions. The “California Dreaming” exhibition brings back his memories of blue skies, brown rolling hills, golden sands, red poppies, and Southern California landscapes of bruising, scat, piss and blood.

Fascinated by depictions of the Dance of Death, from the medieval European to the nineteenth century, Graham draws inspiration from the great Mexican artist Posada. Difficult and challenging, his art stops the viewer in his tracks. The tableaux frozen as if in the split second flash of a strobe light, with the ever-present, ubiquitous Death sometimes in attendance. The Fool, often priapic, mocks our pretensions and lusts, yet needs but little encouragement to join in the games. An amalgam of experience and of Dionysian myth, a celebration of life, of dominance, and the sheer ecstasy of submission.

Graham’s autobiography, tellingly entitled “Celebration” was published in 1996 to great reviews. He has also exhibited in group shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and in one-man shows in the Rita Dean Museum of Death gallery in San Diego.

Prints and originals are available for sale, as is GDS Cline’s handmade LA Cuts Zine’s.

Climb the wide stone staircase in a now redundant textile mill situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors and you may be surprised to enter a former spinning room now converted to a busy photographic studio. This is the base for John Chilton, a talented photographer with a career spanning more than 35 years.

Best known for his expertise in photographing furniture and room-sets, John has only recently ventured beyond the boundaries of commercial photography. His six weeks photographing erotica resulted in his most significant work to date, the breath-taking ‘Art House’ portfolio, on show for the first time at Coffee, Cake & Kink. Intimacy and intensity combine in images that effortlessly cross the line between female and male nude, couples and more explicit homo-erotica. Notable for skill and imagination, attention to the smallest detail and complete studio and darkroom control, John is a mature talent that has ripened late and a promise of visual feasts to come.

Various size open edition digital prints are available together with hand printed/framed limited edition prints.

For artist interview and images visit http://www.whatsyours.com/host/php/index.php?whsmodule=exhibition/user&ex;=1

John Fuller started his photography in late 2003 from his base in South London. Armed with no formal photographic training but a longstanding interest in fetish and the rubber clad female form. To begin with he worked with a few local models, using clothes hired from London based fetish clothing manufacturer. Since then John has photographed some notable models working in the fetish industry both from the UK and abroad as well as working with new fetish models.

Working predominately in black and white, which captures the mood and essence of the clothing and the models, John produces images that show the varied look of the fetish scene in an artistic and aesthetically pleasing manner.

The relaxed and informal working style employed in his shoots produces a natural look from the models. This fun and laid back attitude whilst working does not stop him taking his work seriously and the utmost care and attention goes into creating his images.

All of John’s work is displayed on his website, which he created and designed himself, and launched in June 2004. Since then John’s portfolio has increased and he now produces his own prints for sale, some of which were shown in public at Kinkfest. He has also become a member of both the Guild and Association of Erotic Artists, in order to promote his work to a wider audience.

He has also progressed his work into the field of club photography, capturing the personalities of the people these events attract. He is also willing to undertake commissions; primarily in the fetish genre for both private and commercial clients.

John’s future plans are to create even more striking images of the beautiful and fascinating subject matter that is fetish.

Limited edition prints available.

Amanda is a London based artist and Graphic Designer. Fine art is her passion, Amanda says “you’re able to completely lose yourself in it, enthralled by the pleasure and sometimes the pain of it”.

In recent years she has become more focused on exploring and practising Fine Art. Working to expand her knowledge and understanding within her own practice.

The human figure has always fascinated Amanda, it’s contours, tone and the lines and shapes it creates. The use of light and mood are important themes within her work. Within her paintings she is looking to capture the mood and sensuality of the sitter, a snapshot of a moment. In reflecting each curve and expression, Amanda hopes to give the viewer a very personal and almost voyeuristic glimpse of that moment.

Originals and limited edition prints are available at CCK.

Please leave comments/messages here for Amanda, she checks in regular and loves to make friends with people who love her work…

Mary Rouncefield has studied at Bristol School of Art (2003-2005) and is currently a student at the University of the West of England (2005- ). She has exhibited in group shows including: The Art of Love, Londonart , OXO Tower; (2005); Can You Eat It?, Stroud House Gallery, Stroud (2006); and the Grant Bradley Gallery, Bristol (2006 and 2007).

In 2006, she was the regional winner of the Spirit of Women art competition sponsored by Surgicare plc. Mary was shortlisted for the 2007 Jerwood Drawing Prize and her work is currently on show as part of that touring exhibition. She was also awarded ‘Highly Commrnded’ in the Cheltenham Illustration Awards in 2007.

Mary is also a student member of the Bristol group of printmakers, Spike Print Studio and exhibits with them .

Her interest in and love of mathematics stems from studies at the University of Exeter (1969-72) and Sheffield City Polytechnic (1986-9); supporting her first career: teaching maths and statistics.
In this current body of work she attempts to express and resolve conflicting modes of thought and perception rooted in the two disciplines: art and mathematics.

Many of the prints and drawings in the series “Mathematical Curves” show a female figure, elegant and strong, but at the same time, constrained by the form of a mathematical graph. It is possible to appreciate both the elegance of mathematical language and the beauty of mathematical forms, but at the same time feel the constraint of mathematical logic and conventions.

Original and limited edition prints and a handmade book are available at CCK.
