As a women with narcissistic tendencies, Elsie has a fascination with the female form, its allure and sensuality as well as the power and control that women exert on men. In her art, she plays around with notions of voyeurism, celebrates fetishistic passions and fantasy and questions who, between the sexes, really holds the central position of power.

The women in Elsie’s paintings rejoice in their own sexual allure and taunt the onlooker with their blatant availability.  But for all their provocation, the girls are in control.  They hold the power.  They are ultimately untouchable.  Their interaction with the viewer is on their terms.

One of the reasons I enjoy art so much is that there is no right or wrong, However    
I think, and it is only my opinion that your work is neither erotic or well executed.

Sorry Elsie but they are awful.

I’ll try not to be as harsh as my predecessor, but the most interesting of your pieces is “Sitting Nude” maybe because less is more. The rest seem too tacky to mention – a mix between cheap porn and badly executed….
